Try Before You Buy

Wouldn’t it be great to actually see the artwork you selected in your home, before you buy, to visualize it alongside your wall color, couch or other home décor?

Now you can!

Frame Warehouse along with Artaissance offers a great way for you to "see" and "feel" the artwork before you purchase!

The Artaissance Sample Program allows you to purchase a 5.5” x 8.5” version of your favorite artwork for only $6.00, available on conservation quality paper or canvas. The cost of the sample will go toward the purchase price of the larger piece should you decide to buy it. For example, if you purchase 3 samples you will be e-mailed a separate code for each sample for a $6.00 credit. When you are ready to make your final art choice you can apply that $6.00 credit towards the art price at the time of check out.

If you purchase 5 or more samples, you will receive them at a discounted price of $5.00 per sample!

With the Artaissance Sample Program, you can have confidence that your art selection will perfectly fit your home!http://framewarehouse.artaissance.com/art/Search.aspx?artist=&edition=&color=&design=&subject=&room=&orientation=&key=http://framewarehouse.artaissance.com/art/Search.aspx?artist=&edition=&color=&design=&subject=&room=&orientation=&key=
New York Botanical Garden
New York Botanical Garden founded in 1891, is one of the world’s greatest collections of plants, a leading educational center for gardening and horticulture, and an international center of plant science. The Botanical Garden features 50 magnificent gardens and collections across 250 beautiful acres in New York City’s Bronx borough.

Integral to the work of the Botanical Garden is its LuEsther T. Mertz Library, the most important botanical and horticultural library in the world. Its extraordinary collections comprise more than one million items dating from the 12th century to the present, including books, journals, seed and nursery catalogs, field collectors’ notebooks and correspondence, glasshouse architectural plans, as well as original botanical art and illustration.

Highlights of the Library Collections span the globe. They include Basilius Besler’s 17th-century masterpiece showcasing a magnificent private garden in Germany, as well as glorious 18th-century works focusing on the New World. These range from studies of South American insects and plants by intrepid artist Maria Sibylla Merian to renderings of flora and fauna in the Carolinas, Florida, and the Bahamas by British naturalist Mark Catesby. In Europe, there are charming treatises on citrus set in Old World landscapes by Johann Christophe Volkamer and the voluminous illustrated plant collections of apothecary Johann Wilhelm Weinmann. Treasures from the 19th century include exotic plants depicted in brilliant color in Étienne Denisse’s study of Caribbean plants and in thousands of illustrations of orchids from around the world by Walter Hood Fitch. The Far East is represented with spectacular woodcuts of Japanese chrysanthemums from Kikka Meiji-sen by Kanezumi Imai.

Kate Endle
Kate Endle’s prints are perfect for your child’s room or any room in the house! Kate Endle was born and raised in northeast Ohio. Encouraged to pursue her love of art, she earned a Bachelor of Illustration degree from the Columbus College of Art and Design. After graduation, Endle moved to the Northwest and began illustrating professionally, specializing in children’s materials.

In 2003, after years of collecting decorative paper, she realized it was time to put her paper to use. Gluing decorative paper to stretched canvas, Endle creates natural motifs and geometric patterns.

In her spare time, Endle enjoys creating mosaics, photo scrapbooking and rug hooking.
